Thunder Bay Winery
Thunder Bay Vineyards was established in the little town of Ossineke in 2004. The first vines were planted in 2005. In the vineyard we grow 12 varieties of grapes, along with apples, pears, cherries, and currants. Thunder Bay Winery was established and opened in Alpena in 2012. The Petoskey tasting room opened in 2021. Our family takes great pride in owning and running the vineyard and winery. Come to our downtown Alpena or Petoskey tasting room for a wine tasting with our experienced staff. We offer a range of wines to please every palate. We hope to see you soon!

Visit Thunder Bay Winery in the historic Center Building for an experience in high quality wines produced by a family owned and operated vineyard. We produce a range of white, red, fruit, ciders, and dessert wines that showcase Northern Michigan wine- making. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will guide you through our extensive wine list to create a personalized experience.
